EFL TIPS: We’ve taken a look at all of the key matchups across the Championship, League One and League Two to compile our best betting tips ahead of this weekend’s action.

Championship

Norwich City v West Brom: Saturday, 15:00

We kick off our analysis by diving into Norwich City against West Brom, which is set to take place at Carrow Road. The Canaries have had an excellent start to the season, currently second in the table despite being a fixture behind some of their competitors. They’re on a six-game win streak, and their luck seems unlikely to change after this weekend. West Brom on the other hand have had a challenging start to the season, sitting at 20th in the table. This is incredibly unlucky as their fans have had to watch their side draw six of their eight matches so far and have been unable to convert their efforts into points despite Norwich City having scored only one more goal than West Brom’s 14 this year. Our value bet here will be backing Norwich at 2.26.

Burnley v Bristol City: Saturday, 15:00

Our next fixture to preview is a much tighter match on paper with Burnley and Bristol City both sitting on 14 points this season and only separated by goal difference. Burnley have come away with a draw from both of their last two games. Burnley’s manager Vincent Kompany will be looking to impress fans with a comfortable home victory this weekend, however Bristol City will try to make that as difficult as possible. Bristol City won two of their last three games before coming down to Norwich earlier this week. Despite a close ranking in the table, it looks like the visitors will struggle to gain a foothold at Turf Moor this weekend, and at 5.6, our value bet is laying Bristol City.

League One

Sheffield Wednesday v Ipswich Town: Saturday, 15:00

In League One we have a clash of the titans at the top of the table, where Sheffield Wednesday will welcome Ipswich Town to Hillsborough Stadium. Ipswich Town are still sitting comfortably at the top of the table, having continued their stellar start to the season with a 2-0 win over Bristol Town earlier this week. This extended their undefeated status this season, but Sheffield Wednesday will be looking to change that this weekend. The Blues have been able to rely on Conor Chaplin to find the back of the net, including his goal in their win earlier this week Chaplin’s goal tally for this season has reached six from eight games played.

Even with the home advantage on their side, Sheffield Wednesday may struggle to overcome Ipswich Town. They sit fourth in the table as it stands, following their 3-0 win earlier this week over Morecambe. Despite the two games they lost so far, they do look in good form however and have been trying out different strategies in their attack to play more fluidly. Despite this, our value pick is backing Ipswich town at 2.6.

League Two

Bradford City v Stevenage: Saturday, 15:00

League Two’s action brings us another top 10 matchup between Bradford City and Stevenage. Bradford City are currently ranked sixth in the table, with only two losses so far this season. The Bantams fans can thank one man for much of their success, their star forward Andy Cook who has netted six goals so far this season, and is on trajectory to be one of, if not the top goal scorer in the league.

Bradford City will need to be on top form at home however, as visitors Stevenage have had a flying start to the season, with six wins and just one loss thus far. They are second in the table, trailing Leyton Orient by three points, which they will look to make up this weekend. Our value bet will be to back Bradford City at 2.4.
