THE BEST MARKETS FOR THE EUROPA LEAGUE FINAL: It’s the biggest night of the year for Europe’s second competition as Sevilla take on Dnipro in the UEFA Europa League Final. The outright is the big bet but we’re looking for value across the board in this one.

We start with the issue that matters most to fans of Tipster HQ, who is going to win and what’s the best bet to take on them. Sevilla have a ludicrous history in the competition, winning it three times in the last 10 years including lifting the crown last year. This season’s reward of a place in the Champions League is irrelevant to the reigning champions as they have already locked up their spot through La Liga. Tonight is all about the trophy. It’s a different story for Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk who almost certainly need to win this to book their spot in the big show next autumn.

The underdogs from Ukraine are a really attractive price. At 5.9 the market has massively under-valued this side, which has beaten quality opposition to get to the final. The other bet that looks serious value is Draw/Sevilla on the Half-time/Full-time which is at 4.7. Despite both of these markets looking appealing, the outright on the reigning champions is still good value. Bet on Sevilla at 1.75 to be back to back champions.

Normally the first goalscorer market has at least one player who is a little too short for my liking. Tonight is a rare exception as nobody is too keen on the outright favourite. Kevin Gameiro hasn’t set the world alight for Sevilla this season but in truth nobody has. At 4.3 he’s just long enough to be worth a punt here to break the deadlock. The rest of the market, save for the far too favoured Carlos Bacca, is an absolute scattergun. Betdaq punters like Sevilla more but they don’t have good hunches on who gets the first goal. Bet on Gameiro at 4.3 for the smartest play.

Finally we turn to the Under/Over where the market has been far smarter in its treatment of Dnipro. For all the betting public’s lack of belief in Dnipro to win this, they certainly like them to keep this one tight enough. That makes a heap of sense when you look at the defensive record of both clubs. I’m inclined to think Sevilla can open things up in this one however. Bet on Over 2/2.5 goals at 2 for the best value in this one.
