EUROPA LEAGUE THURSDAY: After the drama of the Champions League this week – the Europa League has a lot to live up to !!! We preview Thursday’s two semi-final matches between CHELSEA V EINTRACHT FRANKFURT and VALENCIA V ARSENAL both with recommended BETDAQ bets.

CHELSEA V EINTRACHT FRANKFURT

8pm We seen amazing scenes at Anfield on Tuesday night as Liverpool reached the Champions League Final and with two Premier League clubs in great positions tonight; surely at least one will reach the Europa League Final – more likely two! We start with Chelsea hosting Eintracht Frankfurt after they grinded out a 1-1 draw away from home in the first leg. Given how good Eintracht Frankfurt have been at home this year, Chelsea would have been delighted with a draw and they are now in a superb position to reach the final.

The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Chelsea 1.38, Eintracht Frankfurt 9.6 and the draw is 5.7. While in the ‘To Qualify’ market, Chelsea are trading 1.23 with Eintracht Frankfurt 5.1. It will be very interesting to see the tactics here – a 0-0 draw is no good for Eintracht Frankfurt so they have to attack at some stage. Chelsea have been conceding goals recently; they kept a clean sheet here at the weekend but prior to that they conceded two against Burnley and three against Slavia Prague. An away goal (or goals) would be massive but ultimately we expect Chelsea to go through. It’s hard not to see plenty of goals here and over 2.5 goals looks great value at 1.66 – Chelsea have had plenty of action in their recent games and with Eintracht Frankfurt having to score, we could see lots of action here. We like the overs at 1.66.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 2.5 goals at 1.66.

VALENCIA V ARSENAL

8pm Arsenal’s Top Four hopes ended in the Premier League at the weekend and now they must win this competition if they want Champions League football next season. They take a two goal advantage into this tie after winning the first leg 3-1, but given the way they have been playing recently and their away form – there’s still plenty to worry about! If Barcelona can lose a three goal advantage away from home; Arsenal can certainly lose two! It must have been bitterly disappointing to draw 1-1 at home to Brighton at the weekend and an early Valencia goal would set this game up perfectly.

The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Valencia 1.93, Arsenal 4.1 and the draw is 4.1. Arsenal are heavy odds on favourites in the ‘To Qualify’ market with Valencia trading 3.65 and Arsenal 1.37. The La Liga club warmed up for this fixture with six goals at the weekend and in general they have been scoring plenty in La Liga this season. You have to consider that Arsenal have been impressive in Europe this season and their poor recent domestic form hasn’t followed them into this competition. They beat Napoli twice while losing to Crystal Palace, Wolves and Leicester – then draw with Brighton after beating Valencia! Perhaps only Arsenal can do that! We feel that it’s worth backing Valencia To Qualify at 3.65 here though; Arsenal just aren’t playing good football at the moment and it has to catch up with them at some stage in this competition. Valencia can score the goals to get through tonight at 3.65 looks good value.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Valencia To Qualify at 3.65.
