EUROPA LEAGUE THURSDAY: We preview Thursday’s Europa League action with the games between DYNAMO KIEV V CHELSEA and ARSENAL V RENNES both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

5.55pm We’ve had tonnes of drama in the Champions League this week, and now we’re onto the Europa League second legs of the Last 16. Chelsea went a long way to putting this tie to bed last Thursday when running out 3-0 winners and they are now 1.02 in the ‘To Qualify’ market. It’s hard to see Chelsea not getting through, but the interesting market in the 90 minutes match odds.

The odds at the time of writing are currently trading; Dynamo Kiev 3.7, Chelsea 2.22 and the draw is 3.35. We feel that Sarri won’t rest too many of his first XI here as this is an awkward trip; however he will surely take the chance to rest some of his star players. We expect Chelsea to set up just to get the job done with the minimum of fuss here and the 2.22 appeals as a value lay. Chelsea will want to keep this game as quiet as possible and they haven’t exactly set the world alight away from home in this competition anyway – we feel there’s a lot of value in laying Chelsea at the odds.

Lay Chelsea at 2.22.

8pm We have seen some incredible comebacks in recent weeks in the Champions League and while you couldn’t class Arsenal winning at home as an amazing comeback; they do need a comeback after the first leg. Everything went wrong for them in France after going 1-0 up; all of a sudden it was 1-1 at HT and they were a man down. They would have been delighted with a draw then but Rennes ran out easy 3-1 winners and now Arsenal have their work cut out.

The markets expect an easy home win with the match odds at the time of writing currently trading; Arsenal 1.31, Rennes 11.5 and the draw is 6.4. Obviously after the first leg things are very interesting in the ‘To Qualify’ market with both sides very close to evens – it will be very interesting to see who goes off favourite come kick off! We like Arsenal To Qualify here at 1.99. Rennes are vastly below Arsenal in terms of quality and their away record in Europe this season is poor, along with their domestic record too. Arsenal have an excellent record at home and they have won 11 of their last 16 home Premier League games by two goals or more. The 1.99 looks cracking value.

Arsenal To Qualify at 1.99.
