FA CUP SATURDAY: We preview Saturday’s featured FA Cup 4th Round action with recommended BETDAQ bets.

PETERBOROUGH V LEICESTER

12.30pm It’s the FA Cup Fourth Round Saturday! And don’t forget that yesterday BETDAQ announced that all bets are only 2% commission on every sport, so let’s find some winners! After needing a replay to get past Fleetwood, Leicester have got another away draw against a League One side. After seeing the team that Leicester opted to play in the last round, we feel that the 1.65 on them to win here is too short. Peterborough have been playing better football this season than Fleetwood, and currently sit seven points above them – Leicester would still have the class to blow them away, however it’s highly likely that they will rest players here. This game comes at a great time for Peterborough too, they’ve only lost once in their last ten games and have won five of their last seven at home. Obviously things could change when the team sheets come out, but without seeing them Leicester look a good value lay at 1.65.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Leicester at 1.65.

SOUTHAMPTON V WATFORD

3pm A very interesting all Premier League clash here, with two sides struggling this season. Very surprisingly, Southampton find themselves in a fight to stay in the Premier League this season as they currently sit in 18th position. That could see them choose to rest some players here, however the Cup is only chance they have of success this season. It’s the type of situation where the club might choose to rest players, and the media and fans will moan about them not trying to win a Cup – however we all know where the money is! Southampton have probably been playing a touch better than Watford lately, who have been very poor – even losing to Swansea who were playing terrible at the time. With Southampton odds on though, we have to lay those odds. This is going to be a very close affair, between two sides looking to find form, and we can’t have Southampton at odds on even with home advantage.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Southampton at 1.94.

WIGAN V WEST HAM

3pm Yet another interesting market here, but this time we have the runaway leaders of League One against a mid table Premier League side. Wigan easily brushed aside Bournemouth in their Third Round replay to get here, beating them 3-0 at home after drawing 2-2 away from home. West Ham played Bournemouth as recently as last weekend too, only managing a 1-1 draw at home. Wigan have been playing some excellent football this season and West Ham have a very tough afternoon ahead – they couldn’t beat Shrewsbury away from home in the last round either, needing a replay to get the job done. We feel that Wigan can get a result here, and with West Ham trading 2.96, we’re happy to lay those odds.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay West Ham at 2.96.

NEWPORT COUNTY V TOTTENHAM

5.30pm Spurs were stopped in their tracks last weekend away to Southampton, only managing a 1-1 draw, a surprise to many given how the sides were playing prior to that clash. The markets expect them to bounce back quickly here though, as they are currently trading 1.21 to win in 90 minutes – the lowest price of any team today! Newport have only lost once in their last 11 games, so they will be no pushover, however you have to consider that level that these games have been played at – so you can understand why Spurs are so short. It’s highly likely looking at the upcoming schedule though that Spurs will opt to rest some key players here, so while we expect them to get the job done, we feel that backing Newport on the handicap offers value. They’re currently trading 2.08 +2 goals in the Asian Handicap market and with them on a good run, they can stop Spurs winning by three, with stakes void if they win by two.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Newport County +2 goals Asian Handicap to beat Tottenham at 2.08.

LIVERPOOL V WEST BROM

7.45pm After beating Manchester City 4-3 in one of the games of the season, Liverpool then went to Swansea at the bottom of the table and lost 1-0. Classic Liverpool you might say – but it makes betting on them a little tougher than other teams also! West Brom are an OK run at the moment, finally winning a game in the Premier League when beating Brighton 2-0, and then they draw 1-1 away to Everton. They may offer a fight here, but its hard to see past a Liverpool win. West Brom have been poor this season, and while Liverpool have struggled at times away from home – at home they have been nothing but impressive. We expect that to continue here and they can cover the 1.5 goal handicap at 2.0.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Liverpool -1.5 goals to beat West Brom at 2.0.
