Leeds v Bournemouth

● Leeds have won all six of their home league games against Bournemouth, with this the first ever top-flight meeting between the sides. It’s their best 100% home winning record against an opponent in their league history.

● Bournemouth have won just one of their 12 league meetings with Leeds (D2 L9), picking up a 4-1 home win in March 2014.

● Leeds won 2-1 against Liverpool in their last Premier League match, taking more points in that game than in their previous eight games combined (2). The Whites haven’t won consecutive games within the same campaign since March against Norwich and Wolves.

Man City v Fulham

● Manchester City are unbeaten in their last 14 Premier League games against Fulham, winning 11 and drawing three. They’ve won each of their nine against them in the competition, keeping a clean sheet in each of the last five.

● Three of Fulham’s four Premier League victories against Manchester City have come at the Etihad Stadium, most recently a 3-1 victory in April 2009.

● Manchester City have won their last 12 meetings with Fulham in all competitions, only ever having longer winning runs against Watford (15) and West Bromwich Albion (14). They’ve also netted at least twice in each of their last 13 against the Cottagers in all competitions

Nott’m Forest v Brentford

● This is the first ever top-flight meeting between Nottingham Forest and Brentford. Forest have won three of their last five against them, though were winless in both games the last time the sides met in the 2020-21 Championship campaign (D1 L1).

● Brentford have won five of their last seven away league games against Nottingham Forest, with both defeats in this run coming in 2019 (1-2 in February, 0-1 in October).

● Nottingham Forest have conceded 28 goals in their opening 13 Premier League matches this season, their most at this stage of a league season since the 1960-61 campaign, when they’d shipped 31.

Wolves v Brighton

● Wolves have lost just one of their last seven Premier League games against Brighton (W2 D4), though it was in this exact fixture in April last season (0-3).

● Following their 3-0 win in this exact fixture last season, Brighton are looking to win consecutive away league games against Wolves for the first time since winning their first six visits to Molineux between 1979 and 1991.

● Chelsea have lost three of their last four Premier League games against Arsenal (W1), more than they had in their previous 17 against the Gunners (W9 D6 L2).

● Arsenal have won their last two Premier League away games against Chelsea, as many as in their previous 16 visits. They’ve not won three in a row at Stamford Bridge since April 1974.

● Each of Arsenal’s last six Premier League goals against Chelsea have been scored by English players, with Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nketiah each netting twice. Just six of the Gunners’ previous 54 league strikes (excl. own goals) against the Blues between 1999 and 2020 were scored by Englishmen

Aston Villa v Man Utd

● Aston Villa won four points against Manchester United last season (W1 D1), as many as they had in their previous 17 league games against them (W0 D4 L13).

● Manchester United are unbeaten in their last 23 Premier League away games against Aston Villa (W15 D8), since a 3-1 loss on the opening day of the 1995-96 campaign. It’s the longest unbeaten away run one team has had against another in English league history.

● Aston Villa won 4-0 against Brentford in their last Premier League home game, but they’ve not won consecutive matches at Villa Park within the same season since January 2021.

Southampton v Newcastle

● After winning four of five Premier League meetings with Newcastle between 2014 and 2016 (D1), Southampton have won just one of their last 10 against the Magpies (D3 L6).

● Newcastle have won two of their last three away league games against Southampton (L1), as many as they had in their previous 31 visits. They’re looking to win consecutive away league games against Saints for the first time.

● West Ham are unbeaten in their last four Premier League games against Crystal Palace (W2 D2) and are looking to win consecutive meetings with the Eagles for the first time since January 2017.

● After losing their first two Premier League away games against West Ham in 1994 and 1997, Crystal Palace have lost just two of their subsequent nine top-flight visits to face the Hammers (W3 D4).

● Both teams have scored in each of the last 10 Premier League meetings between West Ham and Crystal Palace, the longest current run in the competition. The team scoring first has gone on to win just one of these 10 matches (D5 L4), with West Ham winning 3-2 at Selhurst Park last season.

Spurs v Liverpool

● Tottenham are winless in their last nine Premier League games against Liverpool (D3 L6), since a 4-1 win in October 2017. Only once in their league history have they gone 10 without a win against the Reds, doing so between 1971 and 1976 (D3 L7).

● Liverpool have only failed to score in one of their last 20 Premier League meetings with Tottenham (0-0 in October 2015), while they’ve lost just one of their last 19 against Spurs (D6 L12).

● This is the first time Tottenham are facing Liverpool while above them in the table since December 2020, with the Reds winning 2-1 at Anfield thanks to Roberto Firmino’s 90th minute winner. It’s the first time they’re hosting them while above them in the table since a 4-1 win in October 2017, which was also their last Premier League victory against them
