Princess Yaiza runs in the listed Abingdon Stakes at Newbury at 2.55. She ran very well from a poor draw to be 3rd in the Cheshire Oaks. She has come out of that race well and I’m very pleased with her but Sea Of Class is the one we all have to beat. There looks to be plenty of pace on today which will suit and she’s in great nick so hopefully she can trouble the favourite. Adam Kirby rides.
Siempre Amigos runs in the 1m7f handicap at 8.35 in Leopardstown. She enjoyed the step up to 1m6f and the surface when she won at Southwell last time under Conor Heavey, who partners her again and claims 10. She’s in good form at home but this is a far more competitive race than the last day. Hopefully she can progress from getting her head in front and run well again tonight.
