PREVIEW

Janko Tipsarevic meets Kei Nishikori later today at the 2011 AEGON International still in search of his first ATP title of his career. The Serb is the highest ranked player left in the final four and will be confident of reaching the final at Eastbourne.

A convincing two sets victory over Grigor Dimitrov saw that Tipsarevic had a relatively easy match in the last round, although he was taken to a tie-break in the decider.

Nishikori has been in solid enough form since the start of the season, and has the weapons to give his opponent a run for his money. He handed Radek Stepanek a 6-2 6-3 beating in the quarters and Tipsarevic would be unwise to underestimate the player across the net.

The pair have already met three times this year and Tipsarevic has had the better of his opponent on each occasion. There hasn’t been too much to separate the two players, but only one match needed a third set. At around 1.42 on the ‘Daq’, the Serb is a good bet to reach the final in convincing fashion.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)
Back Tipsarevic to win at around 1.42: 5 points

Wednesday’s Return: -5.00 points
