PREVIEW

The Manchester City juggernaut shows no sign of slowing down as Roberto Mancini’s side dispatched Villarreal with consummate easy on Wednesday evening. The league leaders return to domestic action with a game at Loftus Road looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the campaign.

London was the scene for the last time City dropped points in the league after they somehow managed to blow a 2-0 lead at Craven Cottage in September. Since that draw City have won all eight of their domestic matches to open up a five point gap at the top of the table.

Neil Warnock’s side were comfortably beaten 3-1 at White Hart Lane last time out, but Rangers fans will recall their most recent home game that produced a 1-0 win against Chelsea. Rangers were a little lucky to get all three points that afternoon, even against nine men.

Mario Balotelli scored from the penalty spot at El Madrigal to take his tally to seven goals in seven outings. QPR must find a way to stop the rampaging Italian if they’re to have any chance, while David Silva continues to pull the strings from midfield.

City look just too strong at the moment and I’m happy to back them with the -1.5 Asian handicap at around 2.13 on BETDAQ. Further support for an easy City win is that the average winning margin across City’s past four matches currently at 3.25.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)

Back City with -1.5 Asian handicap at around 2.13: 5 points
Friday’s Return: -4.00 points
