PREVIEW

The first round of games in Group B were anything but entertaining, with no goals scored in either match, so punters will be looking to Brazil and Paraguay to put that right in the first of tonight’s games from this section.

They might need to wait a little longer, though. Perhaps it has something to do with the freezing temperatures, but the 2011 Copa America has yet to witness much of the flair for which football in these parts is traditionally famed.

It won’t lighten the mood for armchair fans, but the fact that Paraguay have kept clean sheets in six of their last seven matches is an incentive for backing the drought to continue. If Neymar, Robinho and Alexandre Pato couldn’t score against Venezuela then they can expect another tough 90 minutes here.

Paraguay’s recent record against Brazil, the 1.68 favourites on Betdaq, suggests they can definitely hold their own despite being 6.2 outsiders. They’ve won three and drawn one of the last six clashes.
