PREVIEW

After being on the wrong end of two big defeats in August to both Manchester clubs, Tottenham have really turned their season around and Harry Redknapp deserves huge credit. Spurs are on a great run and come into today’s clash having not been beaten in ten games across all competitions.

Since that 5-1 defeat to Man City, Spurs have won all their games at White Hart Lane with some impressive performances along the way. Rafael Van der Vaart is also back amongst the goals, which is a huge positive for Spurs.

QPR will still be buzzing from their victory against Chelsea, even though the Blues were reduced to nine men before the break. Neil Warnock will have been delighted with his side’s response to the 6-0 hammering at Fulham a few weeks back. If QPR play anywhere near as badly as they did at Craven Cottage then it could well be a similar scoreline.

Spurs have scored 14 goals in their past six outings – at an average of 2.33 per game. With the game in North London I cannot see Spurs slipping up here. A home win is currently trading at around 1.41, which looks too short to me. I would be more inclined to back Redknapp’s side to be ahead at the break and at the final whistle at 2.05 on BETDAQ – something they’ve managed in their past two home league games.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)

Back Spurs HT/FT double result at around 2.05: 5 points
Saturday’s Return: -5 points
