PREVIEW
Cheltenham head to the South Coast with a two goal cushion after the first leg looking to complete the job and book their place in the play-off final. Goals from Jermaine McGlashan and Ben Burgess gave the hosts the win last week and Torquay have it all to do if they hope to extend their season.

Torquay’s task has been made even tougher as their top scorer Rene Howe is unavailable. However, the Gulls have been down and out already this season and know a fair bit about comebacks. After 15 League Two fixtures this campaign Martin Ling’s side sat in 18th place in the table. Then the club found some cracking form to lift themselves into the top six, but this will be their biggest challenge yet.

Cheltenham had an inconsistent run in to the end of the season, but they took a firm hold of this semi-final clash at Whaddon Road on Sunday. However, the Robins’ fans won’t take anything for granted as the side didn’t exactly excel on the road during the campaign. They lost seven of their last eight away league outings, so Torquay will back themselves to put the visitors under plenty of pressure.

The Gulls’ defeat in the first leg meant it is now six games on the spin without a win. Cheltenham’s away form means that this looks set to even itself out and the draw at around 3.55 on BETDAQ is the best option here.
