PREVIEW

Manchester City face a tough task against Bayern Munich tonight for their second ever game in the Champions League. The blue half of Manchester will meet the German side for the first time in the teams’ history, but will come up against two former City players in Jerome Boateng and Daniel van Buyten.

Bayern are on superb form in the Bundesliga after winning their last nine games in all competitions, where they have terrorised their opponents’ defences with a total of 26 goals.

It’s not just in the scoring stakes that Bayern have excelled; it’s been a true team effort over the past few weeks. Munich have managed to keep a clean sheet throughout those nine games, which means they last conceded a goal some 838 minutes ago.

Bayern, who have taken an early lead in the group table after their 2-0 away win against Villarreal, have only been beaten once at home by an English club that and came in a 2-1 defeat against Norwich City back in 1993.

The German side can be backed at around 2.0 for another victory tonight on BETDAQ.

Manchester City, on the other hand, will hope to bring an end to Munich’s impressive list of feats, as the Champions League debutants remain undefeated this season, all barring their slim defeat in the Community Shield against their City rivals.

City only managed a draw in their first group game of the European competition with a 1-1 result against Napoli at their Manchester stadium. What would be an impressive victory tonight is available at around 3.85, whilst a draw is going at around 3.65 on BETDAQ.
