PREVIEW

Group B leaders Venezuela are sitting pretty at the top of the group as they head into their match against Venezuela knowing that they are already assured of a place in the last eight. Tonight they face Paraguay who have taken only two points from their first two outings.

In contrast, Venezuela have four points from two games, which is enough to take them through regardless of what takes place in the other group fixture. A draw will give them at least second spot, and possibly first depending on the result of the other game between Ecuador and Brazil.

Paraguay will fancy their chances of getting their first tournament win given they managed the double over Venezuela when the two teams were battling for a place in the World Cup 2010.

Los Guaraníes were just minutes away from pulling off a shock win against Brazil in their last game. Unfortunately for them, Fred was on hand to deny La Albirroja grabbing all three points.

Knowing that a point will be enough to carry Venezuela to the quarter-finals might just work against them. Paraguay know that a win here would lift them above their opponents, which means it is all or nothing for La Albirroja.

At around 1.63 on the ‘Daq’, Paraguay look a good bet to pick up their first three point haul in this year’s Copa America.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)
Back Paraguay at around 1.63: 6 points

Tuesday’s Return: +3.75 points
