🇫🇷  MATCH POINT: Our tennis tipping column previews the French Open semi-final on Friday between Novak Djokovic vs Stefanos Tsitsipas with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

A profit of 6 points on Thursday with Sofia Kenin getting the better of Petra Kvitová to book her place in Saturday’s final. Kenin is definitely getting better as the tournament progresses and surely must have a great chance of adding to her Australian Grand Slam title earlier in the year but more of that tomorrow ….

Ahead of that the second Men’s Semi-Final at Roland Garros this afternoon with Novak Djokovic taking on Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Djokovic has had to re-group after his misdemeanour in the US Open which halted an incredible run of 36 winning matches in 2020 with the sole loss coming via disqualification on New York.

Today sees a replay of their clash in Dubai where Djokovic won 6-3 6-4 and it’s hard to see anything other than a straight sets victory today for the 17 time Grand Slam winner.

Tsitsipas, aged 22, bids to become the youngest player to feature in a Grand Slam final since 2009 when a 20-year-old Juan Martin del Potro won the title in New York.

There are fitness concerns with Djokovic so he will be keen to get things over with as quickly as possible. He needed to call the trainer on in his quarter final match with Pablo Carreno Busta – much to the annoyance of his opponent who questioned whether he was really injured.

Tsitsipas is definitely a rising star but the experience of his rival today might well just prove too tough and I’m taking the straight sets win at around 2.45 on the BETDAQ SPORTSBOOK.

MATCH POINT BETS:
