MATCH POINT: Our tennis tipping column previews the US Open Women’s tournament with recommended bets on the 0% BETDAQ MARKET !!.

Since the end of the Serena Williams domination Naomi Osaka has been the only player to win multiple US Open titles (2018 and 2020) and the 23-year-old is back as third seed to make it win number three in the absence of the injured Serena.

Naomi Osaka has taken a well documented break from the game after she revealed she has suffered long bouts of depression and is also coming on the back of her decision not to speak to the media after the French Open.

She is trading around 7.5 on the BETDAQ Sportsbook to lift the trophy at Flushing Meadows but that doesn’t really appeal given her relative lack of match practice.

Last week she lost to Swiss wildcard Jil Teichmann in the third round of the Western and Southern Open in Cincinnati. That’s not really the kind of form you need to be in ahead of a Grand Slam.

Osaka starts her campaign later today against Czech player Marie Bouzkova who has exited at the first round stage one each of the last three years.

Karolina Pliskova gave us a great run for our money at Wimbledon – recommended at 41 she made the final before finding Ash Barty too good.

She’s still on the upgrade and again looks overpriced here at around 19 on the BETDAQ Sportsbook and I want to keep her onside.

2019 champion Bianca Andreescu looks massive at around 41. That more than builds in her loss of form and injury problems and re-united with a new coach she could surprise again. She is simply too big for a previous champion.

I also want to include Aryna Sabalenka into the portfolio at around 13. The big-hitting Belarusian is seeded 2 and is in good form – notably a Wimbledon semi-finalist last month.
