Former Celtic striker Alan McInally has teamed up with online betting partner BETDAQ to preview this weekend’s game against Motherwell.

Celtic’s game at Motherwell on Sunday is simply massive as the club need to starting finding some consistent results. The Hoops were held to a goalless draw last weekend by Hibernian and it’s not often that you can say that at Park Head.

As it stands, the Hoops are third on 23 points, although they have a game in hand up their sleeves and they must make it count. It would be brilliant if Celtic could pull level with Motherwell still having played a game less – but that will be a tough ask on Sunday.

The Steelmen are enjoying a cracking start to the campaign and fully deserve to be where they are after 13 games. Manager Stuart McCall was of course at Rangers for much of the 90’s and he’d absolutely love to get one over the Hoops.

I’m sure the hosts will absolutely go for it from the first whistle as they will have seen Celtic’s past few results and performances. Ordinarily this would usually be a guaranteed three points in the bag, but on this occasion Celtic will have to dig deep at Fir Park.

If the Hoops are able to weather the early storm, I expect them to get something from the contest. A point at one of your biggest league rivals in the context of the past few weeks would be a decent enough result for Neil Lennon.
