PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview Monday’s Premier League game between EVERTON v NEWCASTLE with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

8pm We have a very interesting match up for Monday Night Football this week as Everton take on Newcastle. Everton have played one more game than Newcastle in the league this season, however only one point separates the sides in the table and this should be a close affair. Having home advantage, Everton are favourites – with the match odds at the time of writing currently; Everton 2.4, Newcastle 3.5 and the draw is 3.35.
Newcastle arrive into this tie in great form having won their last four games, with their last win coming against Arsenal. They haven’t beaten Manchester United too recently, so Everton will have their work cut out for them tonight. They are without a win in their last three, however they have had to play Liverpool and Manchester City in that time so we won’t read too much into their recent form.
Newcastle have seen plenty of goals in their away games this season – Benitez sets his side up to be very solid at the back, however the stats say there is value in overs. Over 2.5 goals is trading 2.3 and that definitely looks a shade of value. We feel that the draw is also value at 3.35 – we expect a very close game here and with Newcastle in good form, they can grind out a result. Everton are generally solid at home and while we’d be happy to back the draw at 3.35, we marginally prefer over 2.5 goals at 2.3.
