PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview Monday’s Premier League game between ARSENAL v LEICESTER (8pm) with extended stats and a recommended BETDAQ bet.

ARSENAL V LEICESTER

8pm We have Monday Night Football to enjoy tonight as Arsenal host Leicester. We’ve seen a new version of Arsenal this season; one with a bit of backbone about them and perhaps they will be able to challenge for a Top Four spot this season – although City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs are playing great football too!

The host will be looking forward to this clash as they’ve never lost a home Premier League game against Leicester – indeed they have won the last 11 in a row! If you look at the stats for all competitions and now just the Premier League, it’s been 25 games since Leicester beat Arsenal away from home, so they have it all to do tonight.

Arsenal are odds on favourites, with the match odds at the time of writing currently trading; Arsenal 1.56, Leicester 6.8 and the draw is 4.6. Emery has obviously had a huge impact since coming and if Arsenal win tonight they will have won ten games in a row. More impressive than winning ten in a row is the way in which they have dealt with tricky situations away from home and won the game – something they weren’t doing under Wenger.

Leicester have been tough to call so far this season – they’ve had four wins and four losses and we’ve seen some surprising results. They’ve shipped plenty of goals at times too and this has really be their downfall. Arsenal have been excellent in front of goal too this season; and we feel that this is where the game will be won. Arsenal have scored 19 goals in their last six games in all competitions and if Leicester can concede four goals away against Bournemouth it’s hard to see them stopping Arsenal. We feel that Arsenal should be below 1.5 in the market and we’re happy to back them at 1.56 – while over 2.5 goals appeals too; Arsenal look better value at the same odds.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Arsenal to beat Leicester at 1.56.
