PREMIER LEAGUE MONDAY: We preview Monday’s Premier League game between MAN CITY v LEICESTER with a recommended BETDAQ bet and extended stats.

MANCHESTER CITY V LEICESTER

8pm It’s the last Monday Night Football of the season and what a massive game we have to enjoy! Liverpool grinded out a 3-2 win away against Newcastle on Saturday night and now the pressure goes back on to Manchester City who host Leicester. Brendan Rodgers has Leicester is superb form coming into this game; will he do his old club the biggest favour ever tonight?

Manchester City are heavy odds on favourites; however they have drifted out by a tick or two after the weekend – punters are sensing a slip up, surely we see some drama in this run-in? The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Manchester City 1.2, Leicester 17.0 and the draw is 8.8.

City are definitely a good value lay at 1.2 – Leicester have already beaten them this season and Jamie Vardy arrives into this fixture in red hot form. Leicester have nothing to lose and all the pressure is on City; we should see an attacking game. Of course, the hosts come into this game having won 12 Premier League games in a row but Leicester have won five from their last seven, including thrashing Arsenal 3-0 last weekend.

Perhaps it’s unwise to lay Manchester City given their superb run of form, however we feel that they are just too short at 1.2 against a side like Leicester. We fully expect the away side to make this game look a lot closer than odds of 1.2 suggest and from a value point of view, we’re very happy to lay City at these odds. Liverpool fans may be smiling tonight!

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Manchester City at 1.2.
