PREMIER LEAGUE MONDAY: We preview Monday’s Premier League match between WEST HAM v ARSENAL with a recommended BETDAQ bet and extended match stats.

WEST HAM V ARSENAL

8pm We have a fascinating clash for Monday Night Football! It’s a London Derby as West Ham host the hapless Arsenal. We usually see a “manager sacked bounce” in form from teams, but Arsenal only managed a draw at Norwich and then lost at home to Brighton. Things seem to be going from bad to worse. West Ham’s manager was close to getting sacked too before they had a surprise win at Chelsea, however they lost to Wolves during the week so Pellegrini might still be the next manager gone.

The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; West Ham 3.55, Arsenal 2.1 and the draw is 4.1. Arsenal have went off odds on for their last two games and the layers are in clover at the moment. It’s not a surprise to see them out to over 2.0, but they are still too short at 2.1. Their away record has been woeful – how could anyone back them with confidence at the moment.

West Ham won this fixture last season, and given their current run we simply have to lay this Arsenal price. West Ham haven’t been impressive this season, but this Arsenal side doesn’t have a backbone at all and if West Ham put them under pressure they can win. From a betting point of view, we’re happy to have the draw on our side too and lay Arsenal.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Arsenal at 2.1.
