PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview Saturday’s Premier League games with a recommended BETDAQ bet including the televised LIVERPOOL v CHELSEA at 5.30pm.

CRYSTAL PALACE V STOKE

3pm There’s no early kick off in the Premier League this week so we get straight to the 3PM games and we start with Palace against Stoke. Both these sides had entertaining 2-2 draws last weekend, with Palace drawing with Everton and Stoke with Brighton. Palace have definitely shown sides of improvement under Roy Hodgeson, however they still sit bottom of the table and three points away from their nearest rival. Given that they are only 2.1 in the market, they seem pretty short for a side bottom of the table and while Stoke are no world beaters – they are fairly solid. They have collected four points from their last two away games too, so they are in reasonable form on the road. We feel that this one will be a lot closer than the odds suggest and with Palace only 2.1, we have to lay that from a value point of view.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Crystal Palace at 2.1.

MANCHESTER UNITED V BRIGHTON

3pm Manchester United suffered a scare last weekend when Newcastle took the lead at Old Trafford, they lead for a while however United ran out comfortable 4-1 winners in the end. They have a perfect record at Old Trafford this season, indeed Newcastle’s goal was the first that they have conceded at home. While Brighton have won their last two away games, coming to United will be a different kettle of fish than winning at Swansea and the struggling West Ham. We expect United to run out easy winners here given their home form and with them trading 2.04 -2 goals on the Asian Handicap (Stakes void if they win by exactly two) that looks good value to us.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Manchester United -2 goals (Asian Handicap) to beat Brighton at 2.04.

NEWCASTLE V WATFORD

3pm Newcastle look very short here at 2.26 for a side who have lost their last three games and only kept three clean sheets this season. And looking at those clean sheets, two were here however they came against the struggling West Ham and bottom of the table Palace. Watford have been decent this season, and have had no problem scoring away from home. Indeed, looking at their goal scoring away record it pretty impressive – scoring at least twice in all of their last six. We can’t get away from the Newcastle lay here at 2.26 which looks like one of the best value bets of the day.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Newcastle at 2.26.

SWANSEA V BOURNEMOUTH

3pm An interesting game here and the most open market of the day. At the time of writing, Swansea are 2.9, Bournemouth 2.82 and the draw is 3.25. After having a poor start to the season, Bournemouth have dragged themselves up to 13th in the table now and banged in four goals last weekend when beating Huddersfield 4-0. They’ve won four of their last six in all competitions, only losing 1-0 to Chelsea and Spurs in that time – no shame in those results either. Swansea are arriving here off the back of five straight defeats and they are struggling to score goals. Only Palace have scored less than Swansea, it’s no wonder they sit in 19th and 20th position in the table. Its tempting to back an in-form Bournemouth side, however the Swansea lay looks the best call at 2.9.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Swansea at 2.9.

TOTTENHAM V WEST BROM

3pm There’s no doubt that West Brom have been struggling this season, however it still came as a bit of shock that they sacked Tony Pulis. It will be interesting to see how the players react here after that, however it’s hard to see anything but a Spurs win here. They may have suffered defeats against United and Arsenal in recent weeks, however with West Brom struggling they should get back to winning ways in the Premier League. They’re currently trading 1.8 -1.5 goals in the handicap market and that looks good value. West Brom have been making too many mistakes at the back, and if Spurs get one early we could see plenty of goals here.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Tottenham -1.5 goals to beat West Brom at 1.8.

LIVERPOOL V CHELSEA

5.30pm What a great way to finish a Saturday of sport! Liverpool absolutely threw the game away against Sevilla midweek in the Champions League, but their games continue to be packed with goals. They’ve now had over 2.5 goals in all six of their recent games in all competitions, while Chelsea have banged in eight goals in their last two games, winning 4-0 in the Champions League and Premier League – both away from home too! So this is set up to be a cracker, and over 2.5 goals looks a great bet at 1.75. In the match odds market, Liverpool definitely seem a little short at 2.18 – Chelsea have been impressive away from home this season and Liverpool are still giving sides too many chances. It’s very tempting to lay Liverpool, however over 2.5 goals at 1.75 looks the standout bet for this one.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 2.5 goals at 1.75.
