PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview Saturday’s Premier League games with recommended BETDAQ bets – the weekend kicks off with a cracker with MAN U v LIVERPOOL at 12.30pm.

MANCHESTER UNITED V LIVERPOOL

12.30pm What a way to start your Saturday! Even though both these sides aren’t competing for the Premier League title as much as they’d like these past few seasons, this is still one of the best and biggest rivalries in football. We have a very open market on BETDAQ, with the match odds at the time of writing; Manchester United 2.78, Liverpool 2.84 and the draw is 3.4.

United remarkably came from 2-0 down away from home to beat Palace 3-2 in injury time on Monday, the excitement of that comeback probably masks over the bigger issue though – they aren’t playing great football at the moment. Liverpool, on the other hand, are in absolutely flying form and they arrive into Old Trafford with bags of confidence and scoring bags of goals. You can definitely see Jose Mourinho setting up his team to try and stop Liverpool, however that will come at a cost for his side too attacking wise. With Liverpool in great form, we feel the United lay jumps off the page here as the value at 2.78, and that will be our best bet to start the day.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Manchester United at 2.78.

EVERTON V BRIGHTON

3pm This is a very interesting clash, with Brighton in good form and Everton having a good record at home. It should be a very close affair, and perhaps Everton should be bigger than the current 2.28 that they are trading. They have however won six of their last nine at Goodison. We still like the lay at 2.28 though, Brighton are unbeaten in their last six games in all competitions, including a 2-1 win over Arsenal last weekend. They have been scoring plenty of goals and they can definitely give Everton some problems here. From a value point of view, we feel the Everton lay is the way to go here.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Everton at 2.28.

HUDDERSFIELD V SWANSEA

3pm With things so tight towards the bottom of the table, this is a massive game. Both sides have 30 points, and while West Brom are now detached at the bottom of the table, only three points separates Swansea in 13th and Stoke in 19th. So a win for either side here would be a huge boost, and could send the other towards the bottom of the table. Obviously for Huddersfield having home advantage, they will really want to get something from this game, however Swansea are on a brilliant run at the moment. After losing 4-1 to Brighton, they have got back to winning ways with a 2-0 win in the FA Cup and had a 4-1 win of their own against West Ham last weekend. We expect this to be a very close affair, and with Huddersfield 2.6 and Swansea 3.3, we’re happy to lay Huddersfield at the odds.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Huddersfield at 2.6.

NEWCASTLE V SOUTHAMPTON

3pm If you thought Huddersfield v Swansea was important, this tie is huge! Newcastle and Southampton sit behind those two sides, with Newcastle on 29 points and Southampton on 28 – with only one point to 19th position, the pressure is really on here. Southampton would have been disappointed to only draw at home with Stoke last weekend, however they have been disappointing all season if truth be told. This is bound to be a very, very tense affair and it’s highly likely to be a cagey and very close game. We have a very open match odds market, however we feel the value is with under 2.5 goals at 1.72. Both sides have really struggled to score goals this season, especially Southampton, and with everything on the line we can’t see either side being too attacking until late in the game. Unders should be shorter in the market for us.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 1.72.

WEST BROM V LEICESTER

3pm With a lot of sides towards the bottom of the table meeting each other today, if West Brom were to collect all three points here, they might have a chance of staying up. The problem with that is though, they aren’t playing good football and winning any game at the moment looks a long shot. They’ve lost their last six games in all competitions, and although they did meet City and Chelsea in that run, they’ve also lost to Southampton, Huddersfield and Watford – sides they need to get results against to stay up. Obviously having home advantage will help against Leicester, however Leicester have been scoring goals lately, if not winning games. With West Brom trading 3.05 and the way they are playing at the moment, we have to lay them.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay West Brom at 3.05.

WEST HAM V BURNLEY

3pm Burnley finally managed to win last weekend, after 12 games without a win. A follow up win here would put the pressure on West Ham towards the bottom of the table, especially after losing two games while conceding eight goals. Burnley haven’t been traveling well lately though, they are without a win in their last seven away games. Looking at these fixtures, they should have picked up more points – they’ve played the likes of Huddersfield, Newcastle and Swansea. Similar sides to West Ham if truth be told, however West Ham look too short here at 2.34. Despite Burnley having a poor away record, its hard to think that West Ham are that much better than them to warrant such a short price. With four draws in West Ham’s last eight games, we like the draw here at 3.2.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Draw at 3.2.

CHELSEA V CRYSTAL PALACE

5.30pm Crystal Palace came very close to getting a result against United on Monday night, and now they have to pick themselves up and take on Chelsea. Palace will have good memories of playing Chelsea this season, it was a win instead them that turned the tide after a horrible start to the season. A win here is vital for Chelsea if they want to finish in the top four this season, and the pressure will be really on in these type of games from now on. It’s a massive game for Palace too, as they sit in 18th position in the table after going six games without a win. There should be plenty of tension around this fixture with both teams situation in the table, however both have been making mistakes at the back, so perhaps it won’t be a cagey affair. With over 2.5 goals trading 1.76 – we like the look of that to end the days action. Both sides have been leaking goals lately – and Palace have been scoring lately too, so overs looks the play.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 2.5 goals at 1.76.
