PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview Saturday’s Premier League action including MAN CITY v MAN UNITED – a win for City would clinch the title for them.

EVERTON V LIVERPOOL

12.30pm What a fantastic day of Premier League football ahead! We kick off the days action with the Merseyside Derby, and Liverpool will be full of confidence after thrashing Manchester City in the Champions League on Wednesday night. Everton managed to pick up a draw when the sides last met in the league, however Liverpool bossed that game and they are scoring goals for fun at the moment. Playing away from home might suit them more here as Everton are likely to attack a little more in front of their home fans. The home side have lost eight of their last ten meetings against the top six, they always tend to just come up short against the top sides and with Liverpool is excellent form – they look great value at 1.99 and that could be the best bet of the day, not just this match.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Liverpool to beat Everton at 1.99.

BOURNEMOUTH V CRYSTAL PALACE

3pm Palace fought so far in the middle of the season to climb out of the bottom three, however after losing five of their last six games they now find themselves in a huge battle to stay up. The fixture list hasn’t been kind to Palace at an important time in the season, they’ve had to play a side from the top six in four of their last six games – so perhaps their form isn’t as bad as it looks on paper. They are just out of the bottom three at the moment, sitting in 17th position, however if they want to stay up this season they have to get results in fixtures like this. Bournemouth have a great record at home against the sides towards the bottom of the table, and we feel that Palace are too short here at 3.0 – we’re happy to lay them at those odds, having the draw and Bournemouth on our side looks great value at those odds.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Crystal Palace at 3.0.

BRIGHTON V HUDDERSFIELD

3pm It wasn’t so long ago that this fixture was being played in the Championship, and both sides have performed well in the Premier League this season. With thing tight at the bottom of the table, this is obviously a huge fixture for both sides, however Huddersfield are closer to the bottom than Brighton so there is more pressure on them. Brighton lost to Leicester at home last time out, however this was only their fourth loss at home all season – its that kind of home record that can keep you in the Premier League! Huddersfield have been very poor away from home this season, and we can see home advantage playing a big play in this game. Brighton are currently trading 1.9 and that looks a shade too big considering both sides home and away form this season.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Brighton to beat Huddersfield at 1.9.

LEICESTER V NEWCASTLE

3pm Newcastle have been grinding out a lot of good results lately and this will be an interesting fixture. Both sides have been in good form lately, and scoring goals too. Leicester have only lost to Chelsea in their last six games in all competitions, however they did fail to beat Bournemouth and Stoke here recently which has to be factored in before backing a 2.02 shot. Newcastle have been strong at home lately, however they haven’t been reliable away from home. We feel that both sides can cancel each other out here and that this will be a very close affair. With the draw trading 3.65, we’re happy to take a chance on that from a value point of view.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Draw at 3.65.

STOKE V TOTTENHAM

3pm With Stoke sitting in 19th position, they wont have enjoyed looking at their recent fixtures. They had to go to Arsenal last weekend and had to host Manchester City a couple of games before that, and now they have to host Spurs. That’s not the fixture list a side wants when trying to stay up, and with the way Spurs are playing at the moment – it’s hard to see anything but an away win here. This is the fourth away game in a row for Spurs, and they have scored ten goals in their last three games. With four goals in one game and three in the other two, we expect that trend of goal scoring to continue. They are in superb form, and we feel that they will cover the 1.5 goal handicap here.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Tottenham -1.5 goals to beat Stoke at 1.95.

WATFORD V BURNLEY

3pm This is an interesting fixture. Burnley have finally come out of their poor run of results with three wins in three games. They had gone 11 games prior to that without a win! They will prove a tough nut to crack for Watford, who have been tricky to get right this season – their form has been very up and down. Since Javi Garcia came in though they are unbeaten at home, winning three of their four games. The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Watford 2.42, Burnley 3.45 and the draw is 3.25. Burnley have had a lot of low scoring games this season, but have really grinded out results. Since Garcia has come in for Watford, they have improved at the back and we can see this game being very close with little chances in front of goal. Under 2.5 goals is trading 1.67 and that looks a shade of value in a tricky game to call in the win market.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 1.67.

WEST BROM V SWANSEA

3pm What a huge game at the bottom of the table! It looks like West Brom’s chance of staying up are gone now, however they have parted ways with Pardew and will be hoping that will change things at the club. The thing is though, they have been woeful this season and with them trading 2.44 again this week, it’s impossible to back them. Swansea have been fighting hard to stay up, and they’re currently in 15th position. Things are so tight at the bottom though, getting a result in games like this – especially with the situation and the way West Brom have been playing – is very important. Similar to last week, we simply cannot have West Brom at these odds and we have to lay them at 2.44 – it looks the best lay of the weekend.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay West Brom at 2.44.

MANCHESTER CITY V MANCHESTER UNITED

5.30pm What a way to end your Saturday! Premier League fixtures don’t come much bigger than this, and Manchester City will be crowned Premier League Champions with a win. That’s surely a huge motivator for this game, sealing the title against your archrivals. The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Manchester City 1.96, Manchester United 4.2 and the draw is 3.8.

It’s fair to say that we already know how Jose Mourinho is going to approach this fixture. He will set up his side quite negatively and attempt to close Manchester City down – those tactics haven’t brought United success this season though. It’s OK if you’re main goal is stopping a side, however it ends up with you offering very little going forward, and that has been a major problem for United in big games. Obviously losing midweek was a huge blow for City, however the 1.96 on them to win here looks massive. They have a great record at home and they will find a way through this United side at some stage, while United may not offer too much going forward. The 1.96 looks too big.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Manchester City to beat Manchester United at 1.96.
