PREMIER LEAGUE SATURDAY: We preview Saturday’s Premier League games with recommended BETDAQ bets. The action gets underway with WOLVES v MAN CITY and the other televised game is from Anfield at 5.30pm as LIVERPOOL host BRIGHTON.

WOLVERHAMPTON V MANCHESTER CITY

12.30pm We kick off another weekend in the Premier League with Man City traveling to take on Wolves. City didn’t let the Du Bruyne injury stop them from scoring six against Huddersfield last weekend and it’s very difficult to see anything but a routine City win here. Wolves had a good summer transfer window, however after a solid start with a draw against Everton they were comfortably beaten 2-0 by Leicester last weekend. It’s hard to see them dealing with the class of City here, they attack with such pace and Wolves won’t have faced anything like that in recent times. We feel that City will cover the handicap to start the days action and the 1.8 on them -1.5 goals looks great value.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Manchester City -1.5 goals to beat Wolverhampton at 1.8.

ARSENAL V WEST HAM

3pm Arsenal have had a tough start to their Premier League campaign; however if you were to be honest about where they are as a football club – this is their first “winnable” game of the season. They showed good signs away from home when losing to Chelsea last weekend and if they can improve on that they should be closer to the top four than last season. It will be very interesting to see how they get on here – West Ham have also lost their first two games of the season. Losing away to Liverpool is probably to be expected but they would have been bitterly disappointed to lose at home to Bournemouth last weekend. We still feel that Arsenal are too short to back at 1.38; however West Ham will have to improve vastly to trouble them. Over 2.5 goals is trading as short at 1.5 too and with both sides struggling – we might not see the open game here that the market is expecting – with not much value around for this one, we’re happy to take a chance on under 2.5 goals.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 3.0.

BOURNEMOUTH V EVERTON

3pm Everton grinded out a 2-1 win over Southampton last weekend; however they are now back playing away from home and that’s where they have had most of their troubles. This is a very open market with the match odds at the time of writing trading; Bournemouth 2.7, Everton 2.78 and the draw is 3.65. Bournemouth are two from two so far this season and are always a tough team to beat at home. Looking at Everton’s away record and their 2-2 draw with Wolves on the opening day – we feel that laying Everton at 2.78 offers good value here. We’d have Bournemouth stronger favourites than they currently are in the market.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Everton at 2.78.

HUDDERSFIELD V CARDIFF CITY

3pm It’s been a tough start to the Premier League this season for Huddersfield! They’ve lost 3-0 and 6-1 to Chelsea and Manchester City; and now sit bottom of the table. Obviously most punters would expect Huddersfield to lose in those game; however it’s a depressing start to the season nonetheless and now they have to pick themselves up and get some points. They have a great chance to do so here against Cardiff. The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Huddersfield 2.4, Cardiff City 3.7 and the draw is 3.1. Cardiff battled hard for a 0-0 draw against Newcastle last weekend however they did have home advantage. Based on what we’ve seen from Cardiff in their two opening games – we feel that Huddersfield can definitely beat them with home advantage here and the 2.4 on a home win looks cracking value.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Huddersfield to beat Cardiff City at 2.4.

SOUTHAMPTON V LEICESTER

3pm This will be a very interesting game and it will tell us a lot about what to expect from both sides this season. Obviously we all know how close Southampton came to going down last season and in their opening two games they haven’t shown improvement from last season. We have been consistently saying that they are the most over-bet team in the Premier League and looking at the prices from their opening two games we still feel the same. Leicester opened their account last weekend with a solid 2-0 win against Wolves after playing very well at Old Trafford the first weekend. We are very happy to lay Southampton again at the odds this weekend at 2.5 – it looks the best value lay of the day.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Southampton at 2.5.

LIVERPOOL V BRIGHTON

5.30pm Brighton produced the surprise of the season thus far when beating Manchester United last weekend – can they cause an even bigger shock here? Based on what we’ve seen from Liverpool in their opening two games, the answer to that question is no! It’s impossible to see past a Liverpool win here; they are looking very impressive at the moment and it looks like the Premier League title will be a straight shootout between themselves and Manchester City. Even though Brighton scored three times against United – we seen big errors from United while Brighton still conceded two themselves. We can see the Liverpool attack running riot again here and we’re happy to back a big home win. Any Other Home Win (Liverpool to score four or more and win) is 2.6 in the Correct Score market and we’re happy to take those odds.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Any Other Home Win at 2.6.
