SATURDAY PREMIER LEAGUE PREVIEW: We preview Saturday’s Premier League games with recommended BETDAQ bets. The action starts with Tottenham v West Brom at White Hart Lane.

Tottenham v West Brom

12.30pm We start this weeks Premier League action with West Brom traveling to White Hart Lane to face Spurs. After beating Aston Villa in the FA Cup last weekend, Spurs are now on a six game winning streak in all competitions so will be full of confidence going into this one. West Brom are having a very good season, however it is notable how they’ve always came up short when facing the big names, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, United and City have been their only losses in the last four months in the Premier League. So while they are performing well, they just can’t seem to cope with the top sides, and Spurs should add their name to that list here. They do seem short at 1.34 though, as there’s no doubt that West Brom will come to defend and they are very solid at the back. We see a 1-0 or 2-0 win here for Spurs and with that in mind are happy to back under 2.5 goals at 2.1.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 2.1.

Burnley v Southampton

3pm Southampton bounced back to winning form midweek in the League Cup against Liverpool, and were by far the best team in doing so – they also kept a clean sheet which has to be a positive after conceding 11 goals in their four games previous. It will be interesting to see will they follow that up here, given that the League Cup is probably their top priority at the moment. Burnley have been poor away from home, however they have been a different animal at home – losing only to Arsenal and Man City in their last ten. It was disappointing that they couldn’t beat Sunderland in the FA Cup last weekend, however again that was away from home. We’re going to stick with their good home form here and lay Southampton at 2.26 which looks very short given the Saints have lost their last three Premier League games.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Southampton at 2.26.

Hull v Bournemouth

3pm This is an interesting game from a betting point of view. Much has been wrote about how poor Hull have been this season, but Bournemouth arrive in poor form themselves. You’d have to call the 3-0 loss to Millwall in the FA Cup last weekend embarrassing, and while they played well to go 3-0 up against Arsenal – they only ended up with a draw when falling away towards the end. That means they’ve only had one win in six, and if you include the loss to Millwall in the cup, they’ve lost four of their last five away. Not exactly stats you want to hear when thinking about backing them here at 2.36. The problem is, can you support Hull? They’ve only one once in their last 18 Premier League games! With both sides in poor form, maybe goals is the answer – over 2.5 is currently trading 1.94 and with both leaking goals lately, that looks like the best play here.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 2.5 goals at 1.94.

Sunderland v Stoke

3pm Sunderland sit one point behind Crystal Palace in 18th position going into this weekend and they will be very hopeful of a win here with results going their way to climb out of the relegation zone. Stoke haven’t been winning many games lately but you have to factor in they have played the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool – however they did concede four goals to both sides which is still poor. They managed to beat Watford in their last Premier League game, however it was highly disappointing to lose 2-0 to Wolves in the FA Cup last weekend – they were at home too. We definitely feel that there is value in taking on Stoke here, especially with them as short at 2.56 away from home – they’ve only won twice in their last ten away games and with Sunderland in reasonable form, they can get something from this one.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Stoke at 2.56.

Swansea v Arsenal

3pm It’s hard to see anything other than an easy Arsenal win here against the struggling Swansea. Arsenal are without a win in their last three away games in the Premier League, but Swansea have been terrible this season – their only decent recent game coming against the struggling Crystal Palace. If you were to take that game away, it would mean Swansea have conceded 15 in five of their last six, losing each one. An early Arsenal goal might see the floodgate open here, but we are slightly surprise to see The Gunners as big as 1.56 in the match odds market and that is big enough to keep us away from the handicap markets.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Arsenal to beat Swansea at 1.56.

Watford v Middlesbrough

3pm Watford have been in desperate form recently in the Premier League, and the question here is with Middlesbrough suited to defending more than attacking, will they create enough chances to get the win away from home? The odds at the time of writing currently stand at Watford 2.54, Middlesbrough 3.3 and the draw 3.2. Middlesbrough have always proven tough to beat this season, and for that reason we like the Watford lay 2.54, struggling for form it will be tough for them to break down a well drilled Middlesbrough side. The game also screams unders in the goals market, but under 2.5 goals is 1.56 which seems fair.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Watford at 2.54.

West Ham v Crystal Palace

3pm It’s been a dramatic week for West Ham with the Payet situation, and what the manager does there will remain to be seen. The question is how will it effect team moral when your star player openly wants to leave. You would hope that they would see this game as a chance to win impressive to say that they don’t need him – and with Palace struggling this season and only one point out of the relegation zone, it is definitely a good chance for the Hammers to get a win. Both sides are missing quite a few players, and in poor form, so we’re happy to stay away from the match odds here and have a look at the goals market. Under 2.5 goals is trading 1.92, Palace have seen under 2.5 goals in four of their last five while West Ham have seen under 2.5 in four of their last six – both sides could cancel each other out here and we like the look of unders at 1.92.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 1.92.

Leicester v Chelsea

5.30pm What a turnaround for these two teams from this time last season! Leicester are going to miss Mahrez and Slimani who have gone to the African Cup Of Nations, and with Chelsea winning 13 of their last 14 – it’s hard not to back them at 1.67 for the win here. Leicester have been poor this season, but their home form has obviously been a bit better than their away form. We still feel that Chelsea defensive record will win them the game here, they’ve only conceded six goals in their last 14 Premier League games, and while most of those goals have come recently – they really should be beating this Leicester side given what level Leicester have been performing too this season. We’re going to keep things simple and back Chelsea at 1.67.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Chelsea to beat Leicester at 1.67.
