PREMIER LEAGUE SATURDAY PREVIEW: Busy day of Premier League action with the televised games being STOKE v MAN CITY at 12.30pm and the highlight of the weekend seeing LEICESTER taking on ARSENAL. Two sides who suffered opening week defeats.

Stoke v Manchester City

12.30pm Stoke hardly started the season with a bang managing a 1-1 draw away to newly promoted Middlesbrough, however Man City do have a poor record with their trips to Stoke – they won in 2015 but that has been their only win in their last eight league visits, drawing five and losing two. They do seem to be a bit short at 1.73, however Stoke’s quality has been dropping and you wouldn’t really trust them to keep City out. A better play might be goals – City banged in five midweek in their Champions League qualifier and also conceded at home to Sunderland on match day 1 – we think that Stoke can find the back of the net here but ultimately even though City are too short for backing they should win – we feel that over 2.5 goals is better value at 1.85 than the City win at 1.73.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 2.5 goals at 1.85.

Burnley v Liverpool

3pm Liverpool started their season superbly with a 4-3 win away to Arsenal, looking comfortable at 4-1 before an Arsenal fight-back late on – they should win here but at 1.58 currently on offer, they do look a bit short to be backing. Opposing them might not be the best idea either, Burnley have yet to find the net in their meetings with Liverpool in the Premier League and started their season with a 1-0 loss at home to Swansea, who weren’t great either. It’s hard to be back over 2.5 goals given that you wouldn’t really fancy Burnley to score and you’d be relying on Liverpool to win well, although the Liveprool defense didn’t look rock solid against Arsenal – they should be able to keep Burnley out though and we’re going to take a chance on Liverpool Clean Sheet at around 2.24.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Liverpool Clean Sheet at 2.24.

Swansea v Hull

3pm Hull produced the shock of the opening Premier League weekend when beating Leicester, while Swansea won 1-0 away to Burnley. It’s quite hard to call this game and we feel that Swansea do seem to be priced a little short at the current 1.82 that they are trading. Hull do have a poor record with their league trips to Swansea though, they’ve won just once in their last 15 – we see this being a tight affair and under 2.5 goals slightly appeals at around the 1.75 mark. We’re going to take a chance on 0-0 at FT though at 9.6 for a bit of value.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
0-0 FT score at 9.6.

Tottenham v Crystal Palace

3pm Crystal Palace finished poorly in the Premier League last season and they got their campaign off to a losing start at home to West Brom last weekend, they could be in for a long day here against a very good Spurs side – who drew away to Everton on the opening weekend. Palace have won just two of their 20 Premier League games in 2016 now and we see Spurs winning this one comfortably. They’re currently priced at 1.8 -1 goal on the Asian Handicap and we feel that is very good value.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Tottenham -1 Asian Handicap to beat Crystal Palace.

Watford v Chelsea

3pm Chelsea needed a late goal on Monday night to beat West Ham and deny us of our 4.2 draw tip, and they could be in for another tough afternoon against a Watford side who did pretty well drawing away to Southampton on the opening weekend. West Ham kept Chelsea fairly quiet in the opening half on Monday night and we see Watford putting a lot of men behind the ball here and playing very defensive. It could take Chelsea a while to break them down and with their current price at around 1.75, we much prefer under 2.5 goals at around the 1.82 mark – we see Chelsea winning a tight game and expected Watford to put up a decent showing.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 1.82.

West Brom v Everton

3pm The most open game market wise of Saturday with the match odds prices at the time of writing West Brom 3.1, Everton 2.66 and the draw 3.25. I suppose we know what to expect now from West Brom under Tony Pulis and there’s no reason to think that they won’t play any other way bar defensive here – under 2.5 goals is currently trading around the 1.65 mark and in what should be a very tight game, that does appear to still be a shade of value even at those odds. It’s quiet hard to pick a winner, Everton played well against Spurs in the opening weekend and you’d probably lean towards them – especially in the draw-no-bet market at around 1.86 – but over all we prefer under 2.5 goals at 1.65. 0-0 is also of interest at 9.0.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 1.65.

Leicester v Arsenal

5.30pm Undoubtedly the highlight of the weekend fixtures! Arsenal got off to a shock start when they were 4-1 down at home to Liverpool last Sunday, they recovered OK to pull it back to 4-3 but there is still plenty of questions to be asked of Wenger’s team. While Leicester suffered a shock opening defeat at the hands of Hull! Arsenal have a brilliant league record against Leicester and won both league fixtures last season – Leicester only lost one more league game and you’d have to be leaning toward Arsenal at 2.54 over Leicester at 3.0. Both teams should be positive here and will be looking to bounce back after last weekends result so we should have a reasonably open game – over 2.5 goals appeals at 1.78 – there was seven goals in this fixture last season with Arsenal winning 5-2. We do like Arsenal draw-no-bet at 1.84 too but on balance we prefer the over 2.5 goals bet.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 2.5 goals at 1.78.
