PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview Sunday’s Premier League games with a recommended BETDAQ bet including the feature match of the weekend – the Manchester derby at the Etihad.

SOUTHAMPTON V ARSENAL

12pm What a brilliant Super Sunday! We start at noon as Arsenal travel to Southampton, fresh off the back of a six goal win in the Europa League on Thursday night. Much has been made of their weaknesses away from home this season, however bar Southampton’s 4-1 win against Everton – they haven’t been setting the world alight. It’s set up to be a very interesting betting affair, and Arsenal are a touch over evens at the time of writing. They are trading 2.06, with Southampton 3.9 and the draw is 3.75.

With only two wins in their last ten games, Southampton don’t look to be value at 3.9. Arsenal have been in great form lately, a blip coming with a 3-1 loss to Manchester United last weekend, however they had so many chances in that game it could have easily be a 4-3 win but for David De Gea. We feel that Arsenal can outclass Southampton here, who have been generally struggling for goals this season. Arsenal will create more and that will be the difference, and at 2.06 they are worth backing.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Arsenal to beat Southampton at 2.06.

LIVERPOOL V EVERTON

2.15pm Both these sides had impressive wins midweek in Europa, and it sets up the Merseyside Derby nicely. However, the markets are expecting an easy home win, with Liverpool trading as short as 1.32. You’d have to say it was a shock to see Everton win 3-0 away in the Europa League on Thursday night, they have seemed to improve in their recent games however no one was expecting that! Liverpool absolutely tonked Spartak Moscow when winning 7-0, and now they’ve scored 22 goals in their last six games in all competitions.

We feel that Liverpool can do a job on Everton, however with the market expecting that too, there isn’t much value on offer. The bet that stands out to us is Both Teams To Score at 1.9. This looks pretty big, especially considering that over 2.5 goals is as short as 1.53 – we expect plenty of goals here and Liverpool still concede plenty of chances. With Everton scoring nine goals in their last three games, 1.9 looks way too big here.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Both Team To Score – Yes at 1.9.

MANCHESTER UNITED V MANCHESTER CITY

4.30pm Ah, the Manchester Derby – what a game! It’s a shame that Pogba is suspended after picking up a red card last weekend in United’s win over Arsenal, and looking at how they struggled while he was injured – that is a huge blow for them coming into this game. City actually lost midweek in the Champions League, a rarity this season, however they had already topped the group and surely had both eyes on this fixture. They are favourites, with the match odds at the time of writing; Manchester United 3.4, Manchester City 2.3 and the draw is 3.6.

Looking at the stats, both have a 100% record – with United seven from seven at home this season, and City seven from seven away. You have to say that City haven’t been superb in recent weeks, compared to their games beforehand anyway, but they have got the job done with late goals – seemingly impossible for sides to stop the onslaught at times. They have now won their last 13 in the Premier League, and it’s difficult to see United stopping them without Pogba. We feel that is the key factor to this game, and City look too big at 2.3 to continue their winning form in the league.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Manchester City to beat Manchester United at 2.3.
