PREMIER LEAGUE SUNDAY: We preview Sunday’s two Premier League games between Newcastle v Tottenham and Man U v West Ham – both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

NEWCASTLE V TOTTENHAM

1.30pm It’s great to have Super Sunday back and we get underway with a really interesting match as Spurs visit Newcastle. It’ll be very interesting to see what level Newcastle can play to after a season in the Championship, however it’s hard to see them winning here given the way Spurs have been playing in recent seasons.

The match odds at the time of writing currently stand at; Newcastle 5.5, Spurs 1.73 and the draw is 4.1. Spurs finished last season really strongly, winning 12 of their last 13 games – maybe they haven’t been talked about as title challengers because of their situation with White Hart Lane this season – however they have been really consistent for the last two years, and they should have the firepower to beat Newcastle who might take a few weeks to adjust to the Premier League again. The 1.73 looks a shade of value for us, and we’re happy to look no further.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Tottenham to beat Newcastle at 1.73.

MANCHESTER UNITED V WEST HAM

4pm Ready for another Old Trafford 1-1? It’s a new season, so maybe things will change! Jose Mourinho will really be hoping his side can avoid those damaging home draws against lesser opposition – however West Ham have made some really good signings in the summer, and will definitely not be a pushover for any side this season.

United are short favourites, maybe too short, as the match odds at the time of writing read; Manchester United 1.33, West Ham 12.5 and the draw is 5.8. We can’t consider backing United at 1.33 as that looks horribly short – especially given their home form last season. It will be highly interesting to see what they can create here, and another home draw would really get their season off to a terribly negative start considering what the home fans had to go through last season.

Lots of United games had under 2.5 goals last season, and we’d like to see what they can create this season before considering backing overs. Under 2.5 goals is certainly very appealing at 2.3, and with little value to be had in the match odds market, unders looks to be the play at the odds.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 2.3.
