PREMIER LEAGUE SUNDAY: We preview Sunday’s three Premier League games with recommended BETDAQ bets: MAN CITY v HUDDERSFIELD, BURNLEY v WATFORD and BRIGHTON v MAN U.

MANCHESTER CITY V HUDDERSFIELD

1.30pm It’s Week Two in the Premier League and both Manchester clubs play on Sky Sports on this Super Sunday! City suffered a blow midweek when they had the news that Kevin De Bruyne will be out injured for a few months and that is a huge blow to their team – he seems to have become central to their whole XI and it will be very interesting to see how they play without him. It’s fair to say that they might not miss him today, however we will only see the impact in the big games.

The markets expect an easy home win here, with Manchester City trading 1.11 at the time of writing. These type of prices only started appearing in the Premier League with Manchester City last season, and we will be getting more of the same this season! We feel that Huddersfield will come here to defend, quite obviously, and with De Bruyne that can stop this being a cricket score. Any Other Home Win (City to score four or more and win) is trading 1.97 in the Correct Score market and we’re happy to lay odds on.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Any Other Home Win at 1.97.

BURNLEY V WATFORD

1.30pm Both these sides had a good week last week and this should be a very even game. Burnley got through to the next stage of the Europa League midweek after drawing 0-0 away to Southampton, while Watford started their season with a 2-0 win over Brighton. We have an open match odds market, with the odds at the time of writing currently trading; Burnley 2.54, Watford 3.4 and the draw is 3.15.

It’s hard to see this game being anything other than a very hard battle for both sides. Burnley had their best ever season last season and it was built on the foundation of always being tough to beat and it will be difficult for Watford to win here. Their problem last season was they were very inconsistent and obviously only one game into the new season, the jury is still out. We feel that the best option here is the Watford lay at 3.4.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Watford at 3.4.

BRIGHTON V MANCHESTER UNITED

4pm All eyes will once again be on Jose Mourinho as he takes his Manchester United side to Brighton. You’d have to say that United didn’t impress when winning last Friday night against Leicester – they had an early lead through a penalty and didn’t create much afterwards, if anything Leicester should have gone in at half time level. It will be very interesting to see how they perform away from home here, as if they are to challenge City for the title, they must win games like this.

The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Brighton 5.7, Manchester United 1.8 and the draw is 3.65. United at 1.8 is a price that will tempt many punters this weekend; however after watching their first game we’re happy to stay away from backing them this week. We feel that Brighton will make this game very hard work for United – we can see a close and hard fought clash here. We’re happy to back Brighton on the Asian Handicap here – they’re currently trading 1.65 +1 goal with stakes void if United win by exactly one goal – we feel that this offers much more value than the United lay at 1.8 as it saves you in the event of a close United win.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Brighton +1 goal Asian Handicap to beat Manchester United at 1.65.
