PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview Sunday’s three Premier League games on ‘Derby Day’ – all with extended stats and a recommended BETDAQ bet.
CHELSEA V FULHAM
12pm We have two London Derbies to enjoy today, along with the Merseyside Derby meaning it should be a superb day of action in the Premier League! Fulham won’t be looking forward to this clash as they have a terrible long-term record against Chelsea only winning one of their last 26 Premier League clashes. It would be massive for Fulham if they could get anything from this game although it looks very unlikely – Chelsea need to bounce back quickly after losing their unbeaten record last weekend when losing 3-1 against Spurs.
Chelsea are heavy favourites with the match odds at the time of writing currently trading; Chelsea 1.21, Fulham 19.0 and the draw is 8.2. Fulham managed to bag a huge three points last weekend when beating Southampton and coming into this weekend they don’t look so adrift at the bottom of the table. However, they just keep on conceding goals and to concede two against Southampton who struggle to score is a big red flag even when winning the game. We expect a comfortable Chelsea win here and they can cover the handicap too – they look too big at 1.55 -15 goals against this Fulham side who concede goals for fun.

MATCH STATS
- Chelsea have only lost one of their 26 Premier League matches against Fulham (W15 D10), a 0-1 defeat in March 2006.
- Fulham have won just one of their 24 away top-flight matches against Chelsea (D9 L14), a 2-1 victory in March 1964 under manager Bedford Jezzard.
- This is the first Premier League encounter between Chelsea and Fulham since March 2014, when current Fulham player Andre Schurrle scored a hat-trick for the Blues in a 3-1 win.
- Chelsea are winless in their last two Premier League games, last going three without a win back in September 2016 – after which they embarked on a 13 game winning streak en route to winning the Premier League title.
- Fulham have lost all three of their London derbies in the Premier League this season, by an aggregate score of 2-10. The last team to lose their first four such matches in a Premier League campaign were Crystal Palace in 2016-17 (5) who ended that run with victory at Chelsea.
- Chelsea haven’t lost two London derby matches on consecutive Premier League matchdays since October 2011, when they lost to QPR and Arsenal.
- No side has had more different goalscorers in the Premier League this season than Chelsea (11), while Fulham have had fewer than any other side (4).
- If Andre Schurrle scores for Fulham, he’ll be the fourth player to have scored for and against Chelsea in a specific Premier League London derby match, after Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (Chelsea vs Charlton), William Gallas (Chelsea vs Spurs) and Cesc Fabregas (Chelsea vs Arsenal).
- Managers who’ve previously managed Chelsea in the Premier League have never returned to Stamford Bridge and won in 13 attempts (D5 L8), with Claudio Ranieri managing two of those games (D1 L1).
- Aleksandr Mitrovic’s seven Premier League goals this season have earned Fulham seven points – only Glenn Murray’s goals (9 points) have been more valuable to his side.
ARSENAL V TOTTENHAM
2.05pm This is bound to be an excellent game and both teams are having a good season which really adds to the build up. Spurs enjoyed a brilliant 3-1 win over Chelsea last weekend and it will be very interesting to see what they can do against this “New” Arsenal side who seem to have a bit of backbone about them now. Spurs have an excellent recent record against Arsenal with The Gunners only winning one of their last eight in the Premier League – however Arsenal look a much better side this season and we expect a very close game.
We have a very open market as you would expect for such a close game and the match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Arsenal 2.66, Tottenham 2.76 and the draw is 3.75. The market is expecting plenty of goals too with over 2.5 goals only trading 1.61 – although we always tend to see goals and drama in this fixture! Arsenal come into this tie unbeaten in 11 games and that has to be respected – they even managed to stop Liverpool from winning here. That makes Spurs look a little short at 2.76 and while it’s hard to commit to back Arsenal – laying Spurs seems like a great option here to have the draw on your side too. Arsenal have impressed us this year and Spurs should be bigger at 2.76 – from a value point of view we’re happy to lay them at the odds.

- Arsenal have won one of their last eight Premier League matches against Spurs (D4 L3), though that win came at the Emirates in this fixture last season.
- Spurs have won just one of their last 25 away Premier League games against Arsenal (D10 L14), a 3-2 victory in November 2010.
- Tottenham have lost more points from winning positions in Premier League games against Arsenal than any side have against another in the competition’s history (37).
- In all competitions, Arsenal have scored in each of their last 22 home games against Tottenham, last failing to find the net against them in a 0-0 draw in November 1998.
- Premier League matches between Arsenal and Tottenham have seen both teams find the net more often than any other fixture in the competition (34).
- Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 11 Premier League matches (W8 D3), since losing against Chelsea back in August.

- Arsenal have scored a league-high 21 goals in the second half of Premier League games this season. The only times they’ve failed to score after half-time were in their opening two matches of the season (defeats vs Man City and Chelsea).
- Tottenham have won their last seven Premier League London derby matches – only once have they ever had a longer such run in the top-flight (8 between October 1950 and August 1951).
- Tottenham striker Harry Kane has scored in six of his seven Premier League appearances against Arsenal (seven goals in total), failing only in this fixture last season.
- Arsenal’s Unai Emery and Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino haven’t faced since April 2012, when Pochettino’s Espanyol side won 4-0 against Valencia in La Liga. However, Emery won all three of his home La Liga meetings with Pochettino between January

LIVERPOOL V EVERTON
4.15pm The Merseyside Derby has lost some of its competitiveness in recent years due to Liverpool improving; however it’s still a massive tie and Everton will obviously want to damage their chances of doing well in the Premier League. The difference in class is reflected in the market, with the match odds at the time of writing currently trading; Liverpool 1.43, Everton 8.8 and the draw is 5.2. It’s hard to argue much with those prices although for a high profile Derby, many punters will feel Liverpool are a little short.
Everton haven’t managed to win in 18 visits to Anfield and that goes all the way back to 1999 – so perhaps you can understand the 1.43 on Liverpool. The best Everton can probably do is a draw here and they have a good chance too as Liverpool have been slightly hit and miss lately. They suffered a shock loss against Red Star in the Champions League and after losing to PSG midweek too they now face a big uphill battle to qualify. Everton haven’t impressed us this season though and we expect a comfortable home win here as Liverpool simply outclass Everton. The home side are trading 2.22 -2.5 goals which looks great value and we’re happy to back that.

- This is the 232nd meeting between Liverpool and Everton in all competitions – the Reds are unbeaten in each of their last 17 matches against the Toffees (W8 D9).
