SUNDAY PREMIER LEAGUE: Just the one game on Sunday – it’s Boro v Chelsea at the Riverside. Both sides went into the international break on a high – particularly Chelsea with 16 goals without conceding in their last five games.

Middlesbrough v Chelsea

4pm Both these sides went into the International break on a high after Middlesbrough secured two draws against Manchester City and Arsenal while beating Bournemouth in between for only their second league win all season. While Chelsea thumped Everton 5-0 and went one point behind Liverpool at the top of the table, they arrive here having won all their last five in the league without conceding and scoring 16 goals!

With Middlesbrough only finding the net ten times in their 11 league season thus far this season, if you thinking about backing overs in the goals markets because of Chelsea record, it will probably be Chelsea who have to do all the scoring. Especially when you consider that Chelsea restricted Everton and Southampton to just two shots between them in their last two games – that’s highly impressive and a Chelsea clean sheet here is trading around 2.1 which looks like value.

Chelsea to win is trading 1.6, with Middlesbrough 7.2 and the draw 4.3. We fully expect Middlesbrough to set up quite defensively here, and as we have seen against City and Arsenal, they can be quite good at that. It may take a while for Chelsea to break them down and with that in mind, we feel that the Chelsea clean sheet at 2.1 offers more value than the Chelsea win at around 1.6.
