SUNDAY PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview the three Premier League games on Sunday with a recommended BETDAQ bet. The games include the headline Man City v Arsenal.

Bournemouth v Southampton

1.30pm This should be a good game and it’s a great way to start this Sunday afternoon in the Premier League. These two currently sit in 9th and 10th in the table locked on 21 points apiece. Leicester were disappointing when they came to Bournemouth during the week, however Bournemouth dealt with them and now they’ve only lost once in their last seven home games – while also keeping four clean sheets. They could keep a clean sheet here too, against a Southampton side who have been struggling to score many goals, they’ve now scored just twice in their last five league games and remain without their main striker Charlie Austin. They have been solid at the back though, as they have been for much of the season, and it’s highly possible that both sides can cancel each other out here. In the match odds we would lean towards the Southampton lay at 2.68 but we can’t get away from under 2.5 goals at 1.75 for our best bet.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 1.75.

Manchester City v Arsenal

4pm Undoubtedly the clash of the weekend. Arsenals unbeaten run came to an end midweek against Everton, but they an unbeaten run against City that they’ll want to keep here. Arsenal are unbeaten in the last six meetings between the sides in all competitions, winning three and drawing three. And if you look at the last six Premier League games between these two, we’ve seen 24 goals! City steadied the ship at the back when keeping a clean sheet midweek against Watford, but Arsenal will be a different animal here to Watford and Pep Guardiola’s tactic will again come under pressure.

Home advantage will obviously be a help to City, as Arsenal might not attack them as much as if they were at home, however it’s hard to get away from the City lay at 2.18 – the problems at the back can’t be solved that quickly and Arsenal, bar the Everton game, have been in superb form lately. Given the record between the sides, over 2.5 goals obviously appeals at 1.7, however on balance we prefer the City lay at 2.18.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Manchester City at 2.18.

Tottenham v Burnley

4pm Spurs gained another routine home win midweek beating Hull 3-0, following on from their 5-0 thrashing for Swansea in their home league game before that. And with Burnley’s away struggles thus far this season, we expect yet another routine home win for Spurs. Burnley have only managed one goal away from home for the whole season, and that was a penalty, their only point was a lucky draw at Old Trafford and they’ve lost by more than one goal in five of the six. The 2.0 on Spurs -2 goals on the Asian Handicap appeals at 2.1, but not as much as a Spurs clean sheet at around 1.73 – Burnley just can’t seem to score away from home and with Spurs having one of the best records at the back this season, we feel the 1.73 is just too big not to back.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Tottenham Clean Sheet at 1.73.
