BACK TO BACK WINNING NAPS: SHAMROCK landed back to back winning naps when FAMOUS SAYING WON 5/2 yesterday following on from Wednesday’s winning nap BLOOMFIELD WON 6/4.

5/2 WINNING NAP yesterday courtesy of Famous Saying in the closing bumper at Tipperary who stayed on strongly in the closing stages to win by four lengths.

So it’s 5/2 and 6/4 winning naps in a row ! Hat-trick bid today….

There are two cards in Ireland – flat action is back at the Curragh for an eight race card starting at 1.20pm and Kilbeggan take over with the jumps from 5.25pm.

The going is still on the easy side at both venues.

Debutants dominate the opening three maidens on the Curragh card and some smartly bred ones at that. There’s a little more form to work with in the six furlong maiden at 3.05pm where Hawaam can land an overdue first success.

The Kevin Prendergast trained colt hasn’t been beaten by more than four lengths in any of his five races run over a variety of going and will hopefully improve for his first step up to the six furlong trip here.

The filly Soffia showed promise in both starts last season and looks the biggest threat.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Hawaam (3.05 Curragh)
