Menelik looks the answer to the tricky opening claimer tonight at Dundalk.
He gets the perfect draw in one over this six furlong trip and Pat Smullen onboard is an added advantage.
The partnership finished fifth over the five furlong course here in September but it looked a much tougher race.
Midnitemudcrabs in in form but I’m not sure the step back in distance will necessarily suit the filly who won over seven furlongs here last month and was runner-up over a mile here last week.
