DUNDALK NAP: SHAMROCK’s latest NAP Front View finished second at 13/2. He bids to go one better with his NAP at Dundalk tonight.

My nap Front View was a big drifter before the Grade 3 Michael Purcell Memorial Novice Hurdle at Thurles yesterday but put in a good round to finish second at 13/2.

Fairyhouse and Naas over the weekend on the jumps and it will be heavy at both venues but ahead of that its the usual Friday night trip to Dundalk.

Fingers crossed that Kokura can land the nap in the 7.00 race. He was highly tried in his first two starts on the turf at the Curragh but it was his course and distance effort last time out that stands out. He was first past the post but demoted to second place having caused interference inside the final furlong.

So we have that rare opportunity to back a winner without a penalty and he can hopefully finally lose his maiden tag here.

Joseph O’Brien’s Ubume is an early BETDAQ positive – he finished sixth in the same race as Kokura and only has two and a half lengths to find which is quite possible on first to second start so he rates big danger.
