SURROUNDING LANDS NAP AT 2/1: SHAMROCK landed a 2/1 winning nap from his only bet on Sunday – Surrounding in the Brownstown Stakes at Fairyhouse. He bids for a hat-trick today after Saturday’s NAP Punita Arora won at evens.

Surrounding landed the nap in comfortable fashion at Fairyhouse yesterday winning at 2/1. Fingers crossed for the hat-trick today on the first day of the Killarney Festival.

The action gets underway at 5.50pm and on the mixed card the best bet could well be Robin De Carlow in the concluding novice chase at 8.50pm.

The Willie Mullins trained runner is a positive in the BETDAQ market but faces a strong rival in the form of hat-trick seeking Dinons from the Gordon Elliott stable.

However, preference is for Robin De Carlow who was impressive on reappearance at Kilbeggan when winning by 11 lengths. It’s a great start to his chasing career and he should come on plenty.

Dinons is a winning machine, a multiple winner over hurdles he is continuing in the same vein of form over the larger obstacle, successful in his first two starts both here and at Wexford.

He has to concede weight here though and it’s his stiffest chasing task to date.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Robin De Carlow (8.50 Killarney)
