LEOPARDSTOWN NAP: SHAMROCK looks ahead to another terrific day of racing at Leopardstown on Monday.

Another great day of racing ahead at Leopardstown on Monday with two Grade 1 races – the Leopardstown Christmas Hurdle at 1.15pm and a vintage renewal of the Savills Chase at 2.25pm.

It’s an incredible open BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE market on the Savills Chase but it usually pays to follow those towards the top of the betting. In fact, there has only been one double figure priced winner in the last 20 renewals.

Last year’s winner Delta Work is one of three strong entries for Gordon Elliott and he will presumably come on plenty for his seasonal reappearance at Down Royal.

The way Willie Mullins horses are running over the weekend it would be perilous to ignore the chance of Allaho but he comes into this on the back of a really poor effort earlier in the month at Punchestown.

Preference has to go to Minella Indo – second in the RSA last season and a impressive winner of his two starts in lesser company this season.

Rachael Blackmore is aboard again and they can see off the challenge of rivals who might not be cherry ripe at this stage of the season.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Minella Indo (2.25 Leopardstown)
