12 WINNING NAPS FROM 16: Shamrock is back on the naps run today. Punchestown and Tramore bothj passed their morning inspections.
Really good news on the inspection front this morning.
Punchestown and Tramore both survived morning inspections and Fairyhouse’s meeting on New Year’s Day has also been given the all-clear following a Monday morning inspection.
Course officials had been concerned recent heavy rain would lead to waterlogging, but the County Meath circuit has stood firm. The chase course is heavy, while the going on the hurdles circuit is heavy, soft in places.
In the 2.05 at Punchestown both Fatcatinthehat and Hartside showed promise on their hurdling debuts and both were winners on the flat. Fatcatinthehat may have the greater scope though and is taken to land the odds here.
