ANOTHER WINNING NAP: Shamrock followed up Friday’s winning nap Absolutlyfantastic (won 7/4) with another winning nap on Saturday Westmeath (won 4/5)

TIPPERARY: The card at Tipperary has passed  a morning inspection

LONGCHAMP: Irish go into Arc day with high hopes.

Westmeath landed the nap in good style at Gowran Park yesterday.

At around 3.20 this afternoon we’ll know the winner of the Arc – can Aidan do it with So You Think? The answer is possibly and probably.

Probably because he’s the best horse in the race – he’s the highest rated and I don’t think the stamina doubts that layers are banding around will prove founded. Handicap or not, you don’t finish third in a Melbourne Cup without being able to stay a trip !!

The possible doubts are that I can’t be sure how good Sarafina is. She was third last year after a nightmare run and has had the perfect preparation this year.

The BETDAQ market can’t split the pair this morning – both trading around 5.6.

It’s great news that the card at Tipperary gets the green light . Such a good day of mixed racing.

Just like the Arc – Aidan runs three in the opener at 2.00. Battle of Saratoga is the one with experience and can hopefully land my third nap on the spin.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
