FAIRYHOUSE: Tuesday’s jumps card has attracted plenty of horses with Festival potential including Waaheb in the 2.35.

The BETDAQ price of 1.62 doesn’t look bad value at all about Waaheb in the 2.35 at Fairyhouse this afternoon.

Dermot Weld’s runner makes his hugely anticipated hurdling debut after showing great promise in bumpers. He won his first three races and was then only beaten a short head in the Grade 1 Betchronicle.com Champion I.N.H. Flat Race at the Punchestown Festival behind Lovethehigherlaw. The pair had the field well strung out behind and the going was good that day. The softer ground at Fairyhouse this afternoon should prove perfect and he is fully expected to make a winning debut over timber.

Cops And Robbers will be an even shorter price to win the opener following on from a promising hurdling debut here when third in a Grade 3 hurdle. He was pitched in deeply on debut, but he had class on the flat when a Newmarket winner for Sir Michael Stoute, and should be able to defy a lengthy absence to take this en route to better things.

Notorious Villain shaped well at big odds to take second here on his debut and against rivals from bigger yards could be the value in the final race at 4.35.
