There’s a Grade 1 race on the card at Leopardstown, the Racing Post Novice Chase at 2.55 and it should be another win for Arvika Ligeonniere who was mightily impressive when beating Dedigout in the Drinmore Novice Chase at Fairyhouse last time out when he made all the running and never looked in danger of defeat.
Baily Green is a tough performer whose winning run narrowly came to an end at Punchestown last time out in the Craddockstown Novice Chase at Punchestown when he was outbattled in the closing stages by Twinlight. He looks the biggest danger to the favourite today and is preferred to second favourite Oscars Well who bounced back to form at Navan last time out.
For the nap I’m taking Blood Cotil to step-up in class successfully. He absolutely sauntered home at Fairyhouse and looks a very useful ex-French recruit for Willie Mullins and is taken to see off Grade 3 winner Our Conor.
