LAUREN TO STAR AT FAIRYHOUSE: A Grade 3 novice hurdle is the highlight at Fairyhouse this afternoon.
The Grade 3 Solerina Mares Novice Hurdle is the highlight on today’s card at Fairyhouse and it should be normal service resumed for Willie Mullins.
Gordon Elliott broke Mullins domination of this race last year when Shattered Love won but Mullins has a trio of runners today all of which can be given a strong chance.
Preference though has to be for Laurina who relished the testing ground at Tramore on her debut under Rules to win by 15 lengths.
The French bred runner could easily have won by further and looks certain to improve for that run.
Crackerdancer might be a tough nut to crack – she has now won four in a row and that sequence looked in no danger of ending at Limerick last time out when she stormed home by 25 lengths in heavy ground.
