NOW FOUR NAPS IN A ROW: SHAMROCK landed his FOURTH NAP IN A ROW on Friday – can he get the five-timer up on Saturday?

Ratib kept the run of naps going when winning the opening maiden at Dundalk yesterday.

The sequence is now:

Tue: VINTAGE PROSSECO (NAP) WON 9/4
Wed: MESSIDOR (NAP) WON EVENS
Thu: EL BARRA (NAP) WON 4/7
Fri: RATIB (NAP) WON 8/13

Jumping action from Ireland on Saturday with a good class card at Naas featuring the Poplar Square Chase – a Grade 2 at 1.02pm which looks competitive – despite the field of four.

I’m playing the nap card later in the afternoon with Stattler in the maiden hurdle at 2.12pm.

The Willie Mullins trained five-year-old looks a winner in waiting after three solid efforts in bumpers. He won on debut at Fairyhouse in heavy ground and then followed up with placed efforts – here at Naas and then at Limerick in March.

He’s bumped into classy runners in his placed runs and should make a winning start over timber in this company.

Vanillier, trained by BETDAQ Betting Exchange brand ambassador Gavin Cromwell looks the danger having made a highly satisfactory start over jumps with his second at Punchestown last month.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Stattler (2.12 Naas)
