Lone Star won well at Dundalk last night to land the NAP at 6/5. He was actually a late drifter and trading around 2.5 at the off on BETDAQ.
We head to Naas this afternoon.
I am going to stay loyal to Le Vent D’Antan in the opener.
He was a big bet for me at Cheltenham last year in the Champion Bumper but was a little disappointing and could never get that competitive.
He had previously make a sparkling debut at Leopardstown when winning a bumper in grand style.
He has since made a satisfactory hurdling debut at Fairyhouse when finishing third and with that experience should prove hard to beat today..
