7/4 WINNING NAP: SHAMROCK landed a 7/4 winning nap from his latest NAP – Darling Daughter winning the bumper at Limerick at 7/4 – his only bet of the day. He now looks forward to a stellar card at Fairyhouse on Sunday.

Fairyhouse has the racing stage to itself today with no UK racing and it has a card that well and truly demands the centre of that stage.

Three Grade 1 races and Cheltenham clues aplenty throughout the afternoon.

Envoi Allen puts his unbeaten record on the line in the Royal Bond at 1.00 and I expect him to come through the class jump with flying colours.

There’s still no knowing how good he could be – he won the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham last season and made a very impressive hurdling debut at Down Royal last month when his jumping skills were particularly fluent.

This is a much tougher task but he holds stable companion Abacadabras on Cheltenham form and I think the biggest danger could come from Midnight Run who beat Grade 1 winner Colreevy on hurdles debut and the third from that race won here yesterday.

The Drinmore is a watching race for me rather than a betting one but I share DAQMAN’s view that the younger Fakir D’oudairies might just have more scope than Samcro. Both did well on chasing debuts and it’s a fascinating battle.

Apple’s Jade goes for a fourth win in the Hatton’s Grace Hurdle but is hard to be confident about after her shock Navan defeat and faces a hugely impressive rival in the shape of Honeysuckle.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Envoi Allen (1.00 Fairyhouse)
