FORTRIA CHASE DAY: SHAMROCK looks ahead to the Fortria Chase at Navan this afternoon.
A big day at Navan with Apple’s Jade going for back to back victories in the Lismullen Hurdle and then an interesting renewal of the Fortria Chase at 2.10pm.
Ballyoisin will be a popular choice here. Enda Bolger’s improving seven-year-old is versatile over both fences and hurdles and comes into this on the back of a win in the competitive Ladbrokes Ireland Listowel Handicap Hurdle.
He’s a confirmed front runner and should prove hard to peg back.
Doctor Phoenix is the danger on ratings but is prone to jumping errors which may find him out in a likely fast run race.
