PUNCHESTOWN AND CORK: A big day of jumping in Ireland on Sunday at Cork and Puncehstown. SHAMROCK’S NAP runs in the final race at Punchestown.

Big races all over the place on Sunday at Punchestown and Cork.

In the John Durkan Memorial Punchestown Chase at Punchestown, Min should be able to continue the good record of Willie Mullins in the race.

He’s been mixing it at the top level and will find this easier than his last visit here when fourth to stable companion Un De Sceaux (who ran a blinder at Sandown yesterday) in the Champion Chase at the Festival meeting.

Balko Des Flos has the benefit of a seasonal start but it was a pretty disappointing effort in the Champion Chase at Down Royal – beaten 42 lengths into fourth. The drop back in trip should help though.

Mullins should complete an across the card big race double with the immensely useful Great Field who is like a greyhound from the start and very hard to peg back. He is expected to make all in the Kerry Group Hilly Way Chase at 1.45pm.

For the nap it’s back to Punchestown for the concluding bumper. Santana Plessis was a 20/1 third to stable companion Commander Of Fleet in the valuable Land Rover Bumper at the Festival here in April and will surely not need to improve much to land this?

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Santana Plessis (3.40 Punchestown)
