SATURDAY NAP WINS: SHAMROCK landed his second winning nap in just three days when Run With Fred WON 4/7 yesterday following on from Thursday’s nap Daybreak Boy WON 13/8.

Two Graded races on Sunday’s Punchestown card – the feature being the Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle at 2.50pm.

Willie Mullins has won five of the last six runnings including with Douvan and Min so the race is often a stepping stone to further glory.

Mullins has two of the six strong field in 2019 – Buildmeupbuttercup (Townend) and Harrie (Walsh).

Buildmeupbuttercup was a dual bumper winner when trained in the UK by Mick Channon and made a successful start over timber when winning a huge field maiden hurdle at Navan.

She was all out to win that day and the runner-up was beaten again since at Leopardstown so the form might not be exceptional, although she will obviously improve for the run.

Harrie scraped home to win at Tramore when the ground was heavy but may well have needed the run after a long break and can build on that if proving as effective on the quicker ground.

With question marks over both of the Mullins runners it might pay to follow the Gordon Elliott trained Swordsman instead. He has improved with each start and was quite impressive at Fairyhouse on New Year’s Day when winning by 12 lengths and the good ground seems to suit.
