There are a couple of Willie Mullins trained hotpots on the Thurles card today.
Brahma Bull is unbeaten in three bumpers and makes his hurdling debut in the 3.35pm – it looks a weak contest and it would be a huge surprise if he was beaten.
I’m playing at short odds today with the Willie Mullins trained True Self in the mares maiden hurdle at 1.55pm. She is another bumper winner who has been found what looks a soft introduction for her hurdling debut.
She joined Mullins after finishing a close second in a Warwick bumper for Don Cantillon and has won both her starts since at Galway and Down Royal in fine style.
The ones with experience, including Mysloegin and Flamingo’s Court, are already beginning to have their limitations exposed although the latter is capable of finding further improvement after her 66/1 third here last time out.
NAP: True Self (1.55 Thurles)
